BedRock shear over 250 animals per year. We have Suris and Huacaya in all colours.
As a result of this, we produce a lot of fleece, suitable for commercial quantities, as well as those looking for something specific.
This year BedRock Consigned the bulk of its fleece through Elders – see below.
Once again it was purchased by Fremantle Wool Trading Company, for distribution to customers in Britain, Europe, Australia and Asia.

We all know of someone – us included, that has a stockpile of Alpaca fleece in their shed. BedRock, in conjunction with Emma at Elders offered to sort and bale one such pile, resulting in over a tonne of fleece pressed for market. The breeder was happy to regain a shed, and more Alpaca Fleece was put into the system for processing into product. Just a note, it was not much fun….Below is the hard working team, sorting fleece.
