BEDROCK NEWS July 2011 Coricancha Sergio has his first BedRock progeny on the ground. Karijini, a Royal Inca female drops a soft and lustrous SW male. July 2011 BedRock attend Winter colourbration at Canningvale. Five animals and five ribbons and still no Suri's in our show team. April 2011 BedRock again travel to Sydney Royal for a bit of family rest and recuperation. Unfortunately this means we miss Whiteman Park as it is held on the same weekend. March 2011 Cria are beginning to arrive from last years outside matings. The ongoing commitment to our breeding program, includes using other genetics, whereever they may be found.

BedRock
Alpacas was formed in 2000 with the purchase
of five females. Using the best available genetics in our breeding
program, our stud now boasts multiple broad ribbon winners in
show animal and fleece classes. Striving for excellence we are
breeding for top quality fleece characteristics on 'true to type'
animals.
BedRock is located at 'Brookley Farm' on Albany Highway in the picturesque Bedfordale Valley. The property has permanent running water, supporting year round pasture of Kikuyu, Clover, Rye and grasses. With established trees and a nature reserve as a backdrop, this property is ideally suited to the running of our Alpaca Stud. BedRock have always used the best quality males over their females. Bloodlines of our females include Ledgers Dream, Highlander, Royal Inca, Galliard and Iceman. With the 2007 purchase of Windsong Valley Hypnotist - Sired by Jolimint Warrior, and Windsong Valley Sultan - Sired by Windsong Valley Iceman, we have introduced another blend of excellent genetics into our herd.This was followed with the 2010 addition of Coricancha Sergio, an Iceman male from Alondra, who is sired by Jolimont Alessio The results of our breeding program shows in the quality of our offspring. Tara and Chris offer reasonably priced agistment, sales of quality stock, sire services, friendly after sales support and help with all aspects of Alpaca welfare. Visitors
